厚沢部の何件かの廃校跡に、何人かの知り合いがそれぞれ住んでいて、農業や障がい者用の専用車椅子を作ったりしている。
その中の一軒で、コンサートをしたりキャンプをしたりしているところがあって、先日もサクソホーンとピアノのコンサートがあった。
コンサートが始まるまでの間、もてなしに出されたのが『PIZZA』だ。
釜の持ち主は『清和の里の仲間達（正式名ではないように思う）』管理人は、K間さんと藤Oさん。
コンサートのPIZZA焼きをお手伝いした後、もう一度スタッフのためにPIZZAを焼こうということになり、今度は生地作りから参加した。
旧校庭の片隅に作られた釜は、いかにも素人造りだが、大きさも程よく、強い火力があり、風情も抜群だ。
小樽の有名店『エグ・ビブ』の丹N君もプロとしての釜を造って大いに名を馳せたが、それとは違って趣味の域からちょっとだけ出たこんな釜で生地を焼くのも又楽しい。
